This
is a card, specifically studied to improve the muscle qualities of the soccer
player. Besides warming-up programmes, it also contains short run and antalgic
programmes, useful for those who exercise this sport. It is a complete and indispensable
item for those who want to have a selection of exclusive and directed programmes.
The parameters of the electrostimulation’s values are different from the standard
ones that are inside the hardware of the Sintesi SK, as they respond to the
parameters that are considered most valuable for the type of muscle contraction
of soccer players. From a biochemical point of view, soccer is a rather complicated
sport as it alternates typical aerobic phases with rather long periods of anaerobic
alacticid and partly lactacid the production of which moreover is not absolutely
conditioned by the result. The technical gesture and performance however, are
almost completely deputed to the use of few muscle districts, situated mostly
in the lower limbs. Gluteal muscles, femoral biceps and quadriceps and adducents
are the muscles that are involved most in the motor action of soccer players.
Soccer needs a training programming that takes into account what is mentioned
before; it is important to combine a good general organic condition, with potential
muscle qualities, especially for the modern, always more and more physical and
dynamic play. It will be up to the physical trainer to mix wisely the different
programmes of electrostimulation in order to enhance the obtained results of
dry training. We should not leave out the strengthening of the musculature delegated
to accomplish less evident, but very important tasks, like for example the abdominal
with the function of stabilising the whole body when running, or the muscles
in the posterior part of the trunk that are of high importance in the synergistic
activation of districts in the human body accomplishing the push for a header.
The pathologies of soccer players are very diffused, for this branch has a high
trauma level. Tendinitis and pains are generally put into hold silently due
to overwork, while pain in the pubis, sprains an distortions occur daily caused
by a specific technical gesture. Also not rare are fractures caused by contact
and broken ligaments, especially of the knees. In particular a fractured meniscus
can be considered one of the most frequent problems of the soccer player. The
card takes into account all these aspects related to the painful symptomatology
of soccer and proposes a range of programmes, directed towards the prevention
and recovery of the typical accidents of this sport.
